What plan limits affect in Structa, how to upgrade or cancel, and where to check your current access.

How Plans Affect the App

Structa's plans control how many definitions and entries you can work with, and whether certain premium workflows are available on your store.

The Plans page inside the app is the best place to check your current plan, live feature list, and any active trial.

Current Free-Tier Defaults

When Structa applies the default free-tier limits, they are currently:

  • Up to 3 definitions
  • Up to 5 entries per definition type

If your current plan includes different limits, the app's Plans page will show those live values.

Where Limits Show Up

When you reach a plan limit, Structa currently enforces it in these places:

  • Definitions — creating more definitions can be blocked when you are at the definition limit.
  • Definition duplicate and import — these can also be blocked by the same definition limit.
  • Bulk editor — the table may show only the number of entries allowed on your plan, and Add entry can be disabled once you are at the limit for that type.
Your data stays in Shopify

If you downgrade or hit a limit, Structa may limit what you can add or view in the app, but it does not delete your existing metaobject data.

Current Paid Plan Price

Structa's current paid plan is $8/month, billed through Shopify.

The app may also show trial availability and feature labels directly in the Plans page.

How to Upgrade

  1. Open Structa in Shopify admin.
  2. Go to the Plans page.
  3. Review the current plan details shown there.
  4. Click the upgrade, trial, or subscribe action for the plan you want.
  5. Confirm the subscription in Shopify's billing flow.

How to Cancel

  1. Open the Plans page in Structa.
  2. Look at the Current Status section.
  3. Click Cancel Subscription or Cancel Trial.
  4. Confirm the cancellation.

After Cancellation

  • Your store falls back to the available free-tier access.
  • Your data remains in Shopify.
  • If you are above the free-tier limits, Structa may block creating more definitions or entries until you upgrade again or reduce usage.

Billing Through Shopify

Structa billing is handled through Shopify, so charges appear with your Shopify billing rather than through a separate billing portal.

  1. Go to your Shopify admin.
  2. Open SettingsBilling if you need to review payment details.
  3. Contact Shopify support for payment-method or billing-history questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I hit the free-tier entry limit?

The bulk editor may show only the allowed number of rows for that definition, and you may not be able to add more entries until you upgrade or reduce usage.

What happens if I hit the definition limit?

Creating, duplicating, or importing additional definitions can be blocked until your plan changes or you reduce the number of definitions in use.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Your data is not deleted. Structa only changes what the app lets you create, duplicate, import, or view based on your plan.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Use the Plans page in the app whenever you want to upgrade, resubscribe, or change plan access.

How do I check my current plan details?

Open the Plans page in Structa. That page shows your current status, plan name, and any trial information available on your store.
